01Overview
We work month-to-month and want every client to feel they can leave or stay based on results — not on contract pressure. This Refund Policy explains exactly when refunds apply, when they don't, and how to request one.
The short version: we offer a 14-day refund on the setup fee if you change your mind early. Monthly service fees and ad spend are generally non-refundable once work has begun, because the time and media are already spent.
0214-day setup fee refund
If, within fourteen (14) calendar days of signing your Service Agreement, you decide we're not the right fit, you may request a refund of your one-time setup fee, minus any direct costs already incurred (such as domain purchases, paid stock photography, or third-party software licenses bought specifically for your project).
This refund is available only once and only if:
- You make the request in writing within the 14-day window.
- You return any deliverables we've shared and stop using them.
- You have not yet launched live campaigns (Google Ads, recruitment ads, etc.) under our management.
03Monthly service fees
Monthly service fees pay for ongoing work — campaign management, SEO, reviews, reporting, and strategist time — that we begin immediately at the start of each billing cycle. As a result, monthly fees are non-refundable once the cycle has started.
You may cancel future months at any time with thirty (30) days' written notice, as described in our Terms of Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle, and you will not be charged again afterward.
04Ad spend
Ad spend on Google, Meta, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and similar platforms is paid by you directly to the platform — we never hold or mark up your media budget. Refunds for ad spend are governed by each platform's own policies and are between you and that platform; we'll help you submit a request where possible, but we cannot guarantee outcomes.
05One-time projects
For standalone projects (e.g., a new website, GBP audit, recruitment sprint, local SEO sprint):
- Before kickoff: 100% refund of any deposit, minus a $250 administrative fee.
- After kickoff but before delivery of the first major milestone: partial refund proportional to work not yet completed.
- After delivery of the first major milestone: no refund, though we will continue working until contracted deliverables are met.
06Situations where refunds do not apply
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Work already performed or delivered.
- Ad spend that has already been disbursed by the ad platform.
- Results below expectations, where we have delivered the contracted scope. (See Section 9 of our Terms of Service on results.)
- Termination for cause due to your breach of the Service Agreement or Terms of Service.
- Account suspensions or policy violations on third-party platforms caused by client-supplied content.
- Changes you make to the website, ad accounts, or other deliverables after handoff that affect performance.
07How to request a refund
Send a written request to [email protected] with:
- Your agency name and the email address on your account.
- The invoice number(s) for the charge in question.
- A brief explanation of the reason for the request.
We will respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of approval, depending on your bank or card issuer.
08Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most billing questions are resolved quickly through email. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and, where the chargeback is later reversed, may result in a $50 administrative fee to cover bank costs.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Active clients will be notified of material changes at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date below reflects the current version.
